hello,can anyone tell me if there are any inexpensive yarns that give a camouflage effect please?wanted for an outfit for a little boy doll for my great nephew.

Hi Lynda

If its double knit look at patons freedom spirit, or double up some sirdar town and country.

I think wendy do a self patterning yarn as well. Maybe you could get some 4 ply in bottle green and black and double up the strands to make your own.

after zoe's suggestions i remembered i bought some random yarn with short colour repeats from dianne's some time since.....can no longer find it on there but i managed to find one ball in the depths of my yarn with a blue/brown/beige colourway that looks quite good.will still look for a khaki shaded one for later but this has done the job for the xmas gift.
