Pattern leaflet printing

I recently bought the Sublime second children's pattern book. Lovely photos and stylish book - but the printing is in a small font and quite faint. I can read it but it is an effort. Looks to me like form above substance - don't see why they can't print in a dark colour so that it is reasonable to read - the photos sell the designs not the instructions. Will persevere......
