Regular customers may remember that we have done a couple of surveys in the past. The results of the last survey is [NOT] available on the link below.

We have now [NOT] got this years survey up and running which is available at the following link.

This time we have used the Poll and Survey company Poll Daddy who have been doing the various polls we have on the website. You can [NOT] go to the Polls Archive at the following link.

The questions are more or less the same as previous years so that we can get a direct comparison with the past.

The same survey is also on the Website, on the Exit Page of the Shopping Basket and will be in the next Email Update. Please DO NOT complete it more than once as that will make the results inaccurate.

If there are any problems with the survey please let me know asap.

This will be closing on the 31st August 2008 so if you have not already done it please do. It will help us to focus on what our customers need.

We also pass on some bits to manufacturers if we think it will encourage them to bring out patterns and yarns that our customers will actually use.

It is totally anonymous unless, of course, you put anything in the comments which will identify you.

The results will be put on the website as soon as we can.

We are surprised that we have had no responses from anyone under 19 - perhaps that reflects the fact they rely on Mum to supply their yarn. We also have only 1 response from someone over 80 but that may be because they don't like using computers except for ordering. I do know we have lots of Silver Surfers out there and quite a few youngsters who knit.

We have had some nice comments and some good suggestions for future questions.

Sorry I have not got the results for this survey done yet. I found the new system we used this year harder to create the graphs for so must admit have put it on the back burner. I much prefer getting the new yarns and books online

I will get it done - it is on my (very long) list of things to do

Hi

I expect that any younger people that do knit would not be the ones filling in the survey.
If you want to find out about them you could add a question next time asking if the person filling the survey in has a child who is a knitter or something like that. It might be interesting.
